Is this Tanker 911's first use?

DC-10-40 IIRC, no?

The calm before the storm... 0530 at HR Air Attack.

Siller Bros at rest, with the Oak Glen III Fire raging in the distance. And Tanker 75 out of Paso Robles, overnighting with our hometown Trackers in anticipation of a fight today.

I know for a fact they were using both because on the Oak Glen Fire they actually both came in. Although 910 was there several times and 911 just came in once. Smiley

A couple of Calfire (I think, at least) contract 205A-1s dipping across from Camp 11 in Soledad Canyon.

Where I was down in Soledad Canyon gave me no vantage to where 910 was dropping, so I don't have nice clear pics like Skip got, but these, from his multiple orbits overhead, were the best I could do. Even though he was high, at least he gave me a nice bank angle....
